Stokers Creek House

Private Residence
Teven Valley NSW
2016–2017

A tiny original 1930s farmhouse, respectfully renovated and expanded to meet the needs of a large and loving family. All original hardwood was restored and reused as flooring and benches. This not only tells the home’s founding story but also adds remarkable beauty. The house is designed with a passive solar function, meaning it is naturally warm in winter and cool in summer. A stunning timeless fusion of traditional Australian country architecture and contemporary family home.

Client testimonial

“No matter the scale or budget, a build is a huge act in anyone’s life. There are so many different components from beginning to end that you go through (finances, emotions, timelines) and I can’t fault my experience with Forty Four Constructions. Beyond their professionalism and attention to detail, we felt nurtured and respected throughout the process both as individuals and as a couple. In the end, the results were amazing. Our home is well-structured and built amazingly, but to top it off we were also left with positive memories of the whole experience which we continue to enjoy as a family. Thank you Forty Four Constructions and team. Keep making it all happen.” – Marina
